Bürgin, Ernst

Born in Wyhlen in 1885, studied chemistry, took part in World War I, started working at Griesheim-Elektron in 1920, member of I.G. Farben managing board from 1938 onward, Wehrwirtschaftsführer (“military economy leader”), convicted on a charge of “plundering and spoliation” in the I.G. Farben Trial at Nuremberg in 1947/48, died in 1966.
